Michael Quirin
Michael Quirin (* 1840 in Stützheim ; † 1901 in Bad Nauheim ) was a landowner, mayor and member of the German Reichstag .
Life
Quirin was a farmer in Stützheim and formed a model dairy farm. Later he was mayor of his home community and successfully campaigned for land consolidation, a tram stop and a freight station to load the local sugar beet production. In 1913, Kaiser Wilhelm II stayed overnight . in the Villa Quirin in Stützheim.
From 1881 to 1884 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Reichsland Elsaß-Lothringen 9 ( Strasbourg-Land ).
