Michael Sadre-Chirazi-Stark

Fritz-Michael Sadre-Chirazi-Stark (born January 10, 1952 ) is a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy as well as psychotherapeutic medicine . He headed the Clinic for Psychiatry at the Asklepios West Clinic in Hamburg.

biography

Stark studied psychology at the Ruhr-University Bochum, graduated as Dipl. Psychologist and a Ph.D. after subsequent medical studies at the University of Münster Dr. med. In 1994 he completed his habilitation on the subject of "Disease Experience and Disease Management from the Perspective of Schizophrenic Patients" and received the Venia Legendi for the subject of psychiatry. In 1995 he was appointed professor for clinical social psychiatry at the University of Hamburg. Since 1999 he has been chief physician at Asklepios Westklinikum Hamburg, where he set up a department for psychiatry and psychotherapy.

He was co-founder, lecturer and supervisor for behavior therapy of the Institute for Further Education in Behavioral Therapy (IWVT), later Institute for Education in Behavioral Therapy Hamburg (IVAH) and a member of the extended board of the World Association for Psychosocial Rehabilitation (WAPR) as well as a founding and board member of the Germans Society for Psychoeducation.

Act

The energy barrel model developed by Michael Stark as the basis for burnout prevention training serves to illustrate the psychological energy reservoir. The model should show alarm signals of the psyche that can help to do something for the mental health in particular, ie primarily for the life satisfaction and joy of life of a patient.
