Michael Schultz (* 1945 in Magdeburg ) is a German human medicine and anthropologist and professor at the University of Göttingen .

Life

Schultz studied human medicine and biology (majoring in anthropology) as well as prehistory (with minor subjects ethnology and American studies ) at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main . He received his doctorate in 1977 in Göttingen in the field of medicine and in 1979 as a natural scientist. In 1988 he completed his habilitation in the field of anatomy and took over the leadership of the Göttingen working group “paleopathology”.
