Michael Spielmann
Michael Spielmann (born January 23, 1970 in East Berlin ) is a former German speed skater .
Career
Spielmann's greatest success was on March 11, 1989, when he won the 1500 m in the world championship. In 1987 he won the bronze medal in the pentathlon at the World Junior Championships in Strömsund . A year later at the Junior World Championships in Seoul , he won the gold medal in the same competition. At the Olympic Games in Lillehammer 1994 he reached 20th place.
