Michael Toshiyuki Uno

Michael Toshiyuki Uno (born before 1982) is an American film and television director.

biography

He was hired to film such television programs as Alfred Hitchcock Presents (the remake of the series that began in 1985), China Beach , The Outsiders , Early Edition, and Dawson's Creek . Uno also directed The Silence , The Washing and Tatort Bedroom films . He was nominated for an Oscar for the short film "Live Action Short Film" in 1982 for the film The Silence with Joseph Benson .

Since 2002 he has taught at the USC School of Cinema Television . Uno is also a founding member of the Independent Directors Committee of the Directors Guild of America . He is currently involved in the production of independent documentaries, scripts for television and feature films and in the development of these projects.

In January 2008, Michael Uno played a kung fu master in a commercial for William Shatner Priceline.
