Michael Waldhelm

Michael Waldhelm (born July 27, 1943 in Magdeburg ) is a German CDU politician and former member of the Hamburg Parliament .

Life and work

In 1949, his parents fled the Soviet Zone with him . He then attended school in Hamburg until 1961. He completed training as a businessman in the shipping and ship brokerage trade.

From 1985 to 1995 he worked as managing director of the CDU parliamentary group and from 1987 to 1991 as managing director for the CDU / CSU parliamentary group chairman conference . From 1995 he was managing director of a company in the real estate sector.

politics

From 1982 to 1997 Michael Waldhelm was a deputy in the tax authorities and is currently back.

He was a member of the Hamburg parliament in the 16th electoral term from 1997 to 2001. He sat on the budget committee for his parliamentary group.

Since 2005 Waldhelm has been the elected representative of the citizenship for the city of Hamburg in the commission for land regulation. He was proposed by the CDU parliamentary group for this honorary post and was elected to this post by the citizens on May 22, 2005.
