from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Michael Zisser (born October 5, 1966 ) is a former Austrian national soccer player .

Until 1991 the defender played for his home club GAK . From 1991 to 1993 he played for VfB Mödling and during this time he was the club's first player to make the leap into the Austrian national team . In the World Cup qualifier against Finland in 1993, he scored the honorary goal to make it 1: 3 for the ÖFB team in his only international match in the final minute. In the same year the defender moved to Rapid , where he could not prevail, however, and so his path went in reverse order back to VfB and in 1995 to GAK. In 1998 Michael Zisser moved to the Styrian regional league for TSV Hartberg , after only one year he went to the Carinthian regional league club SV Spittal / Drau , where he stayed until the 1999/2000 winter transition period. He then returned to his Styrian homeland, still playing for the clubs USV Gnas (until July 2000) and USV Kaindorf / Hartberg (until January 2004). He then moved to SV Schwanberg (until July 2005) before finally ending his playing career (again) at Kaindorf / Hartberg (until July 2007) and during this phase he was already a coach, where he started playing at SK Sturm Graz from January 2nd 2006 trained the U19 team (until June 30, 2012), then worked as an assistant coach for the amateur team (April 12 to June 30, 2012) and most recently at SV Allerheiligen (near Graz) (January 14 to June 29, 2012). May 2014) was under contract (source: transfermarkt.de).
