Michaela Buchvaldová

Michaela Karsten (born Michaela Buchvaldová on December 14, 1970 ) is a former Czech memory athlete .

She is married to the memory athlete Gunther Karsten .

The doctor of medicine worked for an American pharmaceutical company for several years and is currently working as a mental and memory trainer.

She became the women's memory world champion in 1999, 2000 and 2001.

As a volunteer course leader of the association for gifted students e. V. she was also the trainer of the children's and youth memory world champion Katharina Bunk and a founding member of the memory sports club MemoryXL and a member of the service organization Soroptimist International Club Erfurt and since 1998 an active member (presidential candidate in 2001) of the Czech canteen .

In 2003 her first book on memory techniques was published in the Czech Republic. In 2010 Michaela Karsten founded her company MindKarat for mental and memory training. Michaela Karsten is currently working as a trainer and lecturer in the field of learning and memory. Membership in the KIWANIS Club Erfurt (founding member) is part of their charitable activities.
