Michalis Delta

Michalis Delta ( Greek Μιχάλης Δέλτα , * in Athens ) is a Greek composer of pop and film music . Michaelis Delta first studied graphic design and visual representation in Athens before turning to music full-time.

In 1992 he began writing his own music as a member of the Greek band Stereo Nova , which he founded together with K.Bhta in 1990 as "Bobby Blast" . With the band he released 5 albums (Stereo Nova; Discolata; Asyrmatos Kosmos; Telson and Vitamina Tek). His first solo album entitled "The Picture" was released in 1996 by R & S Records in Belgium. The second was released in 1999 by Glasgow Underground Records under the title "Blue Emotions" . It received excellent reviews from the British music press (including DJ Magazine , Mixmag , Jockey and Slut Magazine ). In the same year "Nepeta" was released on the small Greek label Studio2 Records. Together with Tania Tsanaklidou , the album ΤΟ ΧΡΩΜΑ ΤΗΣ Die (The Color of the Day) was released on Universal Records in 2001. The album also features the best-selling single from the indie label Mylos ΜΙΑ ΑΓΑΠΗ ΜΙΚΡΗ (A Little Love).

Michalis also wrote music for dance performances and the score for two Greek films, "Oi Arithmimenoi" (directed by Tassos Psarras) and "Alithini Zoi" (directed by Panos Koutras).
