Michel Fernandez García (born May 21, 1983 ) is a former Cuban track and road cyclist .

Athletic career

Michel Fernández won the fifth stage of the Vuelta a Cuba to Camagüey in 2006 and was second on two further sections. At the Central America and Caribbean Games , he won bronze in the points race . The following year he won the bronze medal in the two-man team driving with Yunier Alonso at the Pan American Track Cycling Championships in Valencia, Venezuela . In the 2008 season Fernández decided the Brazilian one-day race Prova Ciclística 9 de Julho for themselves.

In 2009 Fernandez García won three stages of the Volta de Ciclismo Internacional do Estado de São Paulo and in 2011 one stage of the Volta Ciclística Internacional de Gravataí . In 2015 he ended his cycling career.
