Michele Ferri (born May 29, 1981 in Busto Arsizio ) is an Italian football player who plays mainly in defense .

Player career

Michele Ferri is currently under contract with Cagliari Calcio , where he plays in the professional team in Serie A , the top Italian division. In his youth he played for AC Milan . After two years without playing in the first team, he moved to AC Cesena via US Triestina and US Palermo , he finally came to Cagliari Calcio. In January 2009 he moved to Sampdoria Genoa , in the same year he signed a contract with Vicenza Calcio . After his contract was not renewed at the end of the season, Ferri was initially without a club. In November 2010 he finally signed a contract with Atalanta Bergamo .

In addition, Ferri was used in various Italian youth national teams.
