The 3rd National Hockey League All-Star Game was played on October 10, 1949 in Toronto . The game took place at Maple Leaf Gardens , the home of the Toronto Maple Leafs . The NHL All-Stars won 3-1 against the Stanley Cup winner, the Toronto Maple Leafs. For the Maple Leafs it was the third loss in the third All-Star Game in a row. The game was watched by 13,541 spectators.
