7th National Hockey League All-Star Game

The 7th National Hockey League All-Star Game was played on October 3, 1953 in Montréal , Canada . The game took place in the Forum de Montréal , the venue of the Stanley Cup winner Canadiens de Montréal . The NHL All-Stars prevailed 3-1.

After two years in which two NHL All-Star teams competed against each other, the NHL decided to reintroduce the old mode - Stanley Cup winners versus NHL All-Stars. The main reason were the two boring draws in these games.
