Floyd James "Busher" Curry (born August 11, 1925 in Chapleau , Ontario ; † September 16, 2006 in Montreal , Québec ) was a Canadian ice hockey player , coach and manager who, during his active career between 1944 and 1960, among others 692 Has played for the Canadiens de Montréal in the National Hockey League on the position of right winger . With the Canadiens he won the Stanley Cup four times .

Career

Curry played in the National Hockey League with the Canadiens de Montréal throughout his career . His career there began in the 1947/48 season and ended in 1958 . During this time he won the Stanley Cup four times . He achieved his only hat trick on October 29, 1951, when Queen Elizabeth II was present at the Montreal Forum .

After finishing his active career, he was the trainer of the Montreal Royals . He then worked for the Montréal Canadiens for over 40 years. In 1944 he also won the Memorial Cup with the Oshawa Generals .
