The official logo of the 2002 NHL All-Star Games in Los Angeles

The 52nd National Hockey League All-Star Game was played on February 2, 2002 in Los Angeles , California . The hosts of the game were for the second time since 1981 the Los Angeles Kings .

The event, which was held at the Staples Center , was attended by the best players from the National Hockey League . In the game, the best players from North America competed against the best players from other continents. The starting formations of the All-Star Teams could be determined by the fans through a vote. There were 18,118 spectators in the stadium.
