Michele Gandin

Michele Gandin (* 7. October 1914 in Bagnaia , † 6. September 1994 in Rome ) was an Italian short film - documentary filmmaker and film journalist.

Life

Gandin worked as a publicist; He was the editor- in- chief in Rome for the magazine “Cinema Nuovo” and a board member of several professional associations, including the “Circolo romano del cinema”, the ANAC (“Associazione Nazionale Autori Cinematografici”) and the Association of Film Journalists. In 1941 and 1942 he worked as an assistant director a . a. worked for Vittorio De Sica and has since specialized in short documentary films, which he made regularly until 1973.

In 1958 and 1961 he brought two full-length documentaries to Italian cinemas.
