Micheline Bernardini

Micheline Bernardini (born December 1, 1927 in Colmar ) is a French former striptease dancer in the Casino de Paris.

Life

On July 5, 1946, Bernardini was the first woman to show the two-piece bikini swimsuit designed by mechanical engineer Louis Réard in the Paris Art Nouveau Molitor swimming pool . The rumor that other models have refused to present the bikini is wrong: Réard had previously worked with the dancers of the Casino de Paris club.
