Michelle Toukan (born December 2, 1993 ) is an American skeleton pilot .

Career

In the 2017/18 season , Michelle Toukan made her international debut in the North America Cup . She finished seventh in the Calgary race on November 12, 2017. After she finished only 14th place on November 29th in Park City , she was able to finish fourth at the North American Cup race in Lake Placid after the turn of the year . One day later she was able to confirm fourth place in the second race on the Mount Van Hoevenberg Olympic bobsleigh run with the same result. In the overall standings of the North American Cup, she finished 13th at the end of the season with 162 points, which she collected in four of eight races of the season.

In the 2018/19 season she competed again in the North American Cup and started the season on November 19 in Park City with a fourth place. One day later she finished third in the second race at Park City behind her teammate Kelly Curtis and the Swede Leslie Stratton . It was Michelle Toukan’s first career podium in the North American Cup. She was able to confirm this podium at the North American Cup competitions in Lake Placid . On November 30, 2019, she finished second behind her compatriot Sara Roderick and ahead of Leslie Stratton. One day later she was able to finish the second competition on the Mount Van Hoevenberg Olympic bobsleigh run behind Sara Roderick and in front of Kelly Curtis again in second place. After the turn of the year, she was only able to take tenth and sixth place in the two competitions in Calgary on January 10 and 11, 2019. She finished the season with 307 points in fourth place in the overall standings of the North American Cup.

In Nordamerikacup Michelle Toukan also went in the season 2019/20 at the start. After finishing only eighth and twentieth place at the start of the season on November 20 and 21 in Lake Placid , she competed in Park City between December 9 and 10 . On December 9th, two races were held, each of which consisted of only one run. While she only finished tenth in the first race, she finished third in the second competition behind the Chinese Zhu Yangqi and the South Korean Kim Eunji . A day later she took fourth place in the third competition in Park City, in which two runs were held. At the end of the season she took part in the competitions in Lake Placid after the turn of the year. On January 6, 2020, two more competitions were held, each with only one run, in which she finished 19th and tenth. After finishing sixth a day later in the third competition on the Mount Van Hoevenberg Olympic bobsleigh track , which was held in two runs, she finished the season in fifth place with 271 points in the overall standings.
