Michinori Ishibashi

Michinori Ishibashi ( Japanese 石橋 道 紀 Ishibashi Michinori ; born January 1, 1952 ) is a former Japanese judoka . He won a silver medal at the 1975 World Championships.

Athletic career

Michinori Ishibashi won the light heavyweight title at the Japanese Championships in 1975 with a final victory over Hisakazu Iwata .

At the 1975 World Championships in Vienna, he defeated the Briton Peter Donnelly in the quarter-finals and Ramas Charschiladze from the Soviet Union in the semifinals . In the final, Ishibashi lost to French Jean-Luc Rougé .

In 1978, Ishibashi won the open class title at the United States Championships.
