Frischgrün is a hamlet in the Seubersdorf municipality in the Neumarkt district in Upper Palatinate . The hamlet consists of four properties and is located about one kilometer east of Batzhausen and about 500 meters south of Waldhausen on the connecting road from Batzhausen to Eichenhofen .

The location a little outside of Waldhausen on the connecting road, which was newly built as part of the land consolidation, made it necessary, at the suggestion of the authorities, in 1974 to separate these three (now four) properties and make them an independent hamlet.

The Schwarzer-Häusl estate was located here in the second half of the 19th century . The local council of Batzhausen at that time chose the name Frischgrün because this name had become so natural due to the natural surroundings with a spring and a wood.

On May 1, 1978, Frischgrün was incorporated into Seubersdorf together with the then Batzhausen community.
