Willmannsdorf is a district of the Seubersdorf municipality in the Neumarkt district in the Upper Palatinate .

location

Willmannsdorf is about 2.8 kilometers southeast of Seubersdorf and about 1.7 kilometers north of Daßwang .

history

The place Wilramstorff , so the earliest spelling, has been mentioned by Willmannsdorf in the possessions of the Cistercian order founded in Pielenhofen in 1240 since 1346 . The Pielenhofen monastery had acquired the court of Ulrich Pauer zu Allerburg " umb 18 lb pfennigs ".

In the 14th and 15th centuries, the Parsbergers gained dominance as neighbors in Willmannsdorf. On October 29, 1403 Wilhelm von Parsberg transferred the right of tithing to Widmann's son, who lived in Wilmanstorf . Later, until 1600, the Velburger Wiespeck succeeded in incorporating the place. In 1545, the Parsberg rulership established an old border line right through Willmannsdorf . At the end of the 17th century, Willmannsdorf comprised six properties and the community shepherd's house.

In 1818 Willmannsdorf was incorporated into the political community of Daßwang. In 1868 the Willmannsdorfer applied for a parish change to Seubersdorf. The application to the Royal District Office in Velburg was rejected in November 1868. In response to their request for allocation to the Seubersdorf community, the community people of Willmannsdorf must be informed that “in view of the community regulations to be expected in the near future, this request will be circumvented for the time being. "

On May 1, 1978 Willmannsdorf was incorporated into Seubersdorf together with Batzhausen , Waldhausen, Klingelmühle and Frischgrün as well as Daßwang and Winn .

Marienkapelle Willmannsdorf

The Marienkapelle in Willmannsdorf, a gable-independent and polygonally closing hall building with a bell ridge, was built in 1866 by the six property owners in Willmannsdorf. Since the chapel was only intended for private devotions , according to the diocese's order, only the purchased bell needed to be consecrated.
