history

Michldorf is one of the oldest parishes in the Upper Palatinate. Bishop Otto the Holy is said to have consecrated a church as early as 1124 . In the course of the administrative reforms in Bavaria, the municipality Michldorf was created with the municipal edict of 1818, which was incorporated into Leuchtenberg on May 1, 1978.
