description

This tenement house is a surviving example of the tenement houses built at the end of the 19th century around the star-shaped Grunwaldzki-Platz (before the Second World War: Kaiser-Wilhelm-Platz ). It is characterized by the pharmacy on the ground floor, which opened in 1900 and is open almost continuously to this day.

In 1900 G. Luckenbach opened the pharmacy on the ground floor. The most important room in the pharmacy was the expedition room with cash registers. The walls and the ceiling of the room were decorated with wood paneling. A wooden shelf with a clock and a back wall in the form of mirrors was placed on the walls. In 1928 a clock was installed on the facade . After 1945 the pharmacy was taken over by the new pharmaceutical company Cefarm Szczecin. Most of the furnishings from the prewar period have survived into the modern era.
