Defender "Miguelera" Benincasa was the younger brother of José Benincasa . He was one of at least 1908 to 1910 and in the years 1916 and 1917 the squad of his time in La Liga playing River Plate Football Club to. In 1908 and 1910 his club won the Uruguayan championship. At the end of his career, he joined Peñarol in 1921 . Operations in official games are not recorded there for him.
National team
Benincasa was also a member of the Uruguayan senior team . He made his debut in the national team in the team led by Carlos Bastos as coach, which defeated Chile's selection 4-1 in a friendly on July 14, 1916. He took part with the national team in the South American Championships in 1916 and 1917 and won the title with Uruguay. He contributed to this in 1916 in the 0-0 game against Argentina on July 17, 1916, while he was denied a role at the 1917 tournament. Also at the Copa Newton in 1916 he ran in the 1: 3 defeat against Argentina. Another mission of Benincasa was in 1917 in the international friendly against Brazil on October 16 of that year.
