Miia-Maarit Niemi (born July 9, 1983 ) is a former Finnish soccer player . The defender played for the Finnish national team .
With the club HJK Helsinki she won the Finnish championship in 2001 and 2005 and the Finnish Cup in 2002. She later moved to Amazon Grimstad FK in Norway. On August 9, 2003, she made her debut in a game against Sweden in the Finnish national team, for which Niemi played a total of 46 times. In 2011 she went to Klepp IL , where she ended her career.
