Živilė Mikėnaitė (* 1970 in Šiauliai ) is a Lithuanian administrative lawyer, head of the national prison system , general .

Life

After graduating from middle school graduated Živilė Mikėnaitė the diploma study of mathematics at the Pedagogical Institute in Šiauliai and was math teacher. In 2003 she completed her master's degree in law at Vilnius University in Vilnius .

Živilė Mikėnaitė served in the Šiauliai Police Department . From 2000 she worked as a police commissioner-inspector in the Vilnius Police Department . From 2003 she served at Kalėjimų departamentas and headed the human resources department for 8 years. From September 2011 she was director of the correctional facility in Kaunas . Since June 2015 she has been director of the Lithuanian National Prisons Authority. She was also promoted to general in the office.
