The Mikado Glacier is a glacier in the north of the West Antarctic Alexander I Island . It flows on the north side of the Mahler Spur in a west-north-westerly direction to the Sullivan Glacier , which it reaches shortly before its confluence with the Gilbert Glacier .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1977 based on the names of the Gilbert and Sullivan glaciers after the operetta Der Mikado from 1885.
