Mikael Johansson (born July 17, 1981 in Gothenburg ) is a Swedish ice hockey player who was last under contract with Frölunda HC in the Elitserien .

Career

Mikael Johansson began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of Frölunda HC , where he was active until 2001. He then moved for a year to Tyringe SoSS from the third division Division 1 , before he spent the following four years in the HockeyAllsvenskan , the second Swedish division. There he played for Mörrums GoIS IK , Halmstad Hammers and Rögle BK .

For the 2006/07 season Johansson joined the Malmö Redhawks from the Elitserien . With the team, however, he had to accept relegation to HockeyAllsvenskan at the end of the season, after which he returned to his home club Frölunda HC, for which he was on the ice until 2013 in the top Swedish division.
