Mike Al Becker (born July 29, 1961 , born Michael Becker) is a German musician.

At the age of 13 he began his musical career with the guitar. As a result of a rear-end collision, Becker broke his neck at the level of vertebra C5 through no fault of his own. Since then he has been paraplegic from the neck down.

In 1992 Becker learned to play the harmonica. He formed a five-member band and processed his experience as a wheelchair user in various texts. In 1996 he made his first CD entitled Rollimann . Initially only planned as a small project, he delivered a CD with nine pieces, all of which he wrote himself. A video clip was also shot.

In 1997 he re-formed his band, this time under the name Mike Al Becker & Die Simulanten . He received musical support from the former extra- wide guitarist Uli Ruhwedel and the former extra-wide drummer Michael Gaßmann. A new CD was recorded under the title Junge, keep your feet still . In 2000, the group was given the opportunity to create a club anthem for the football club FC Schalke 04 . The title of the piece was Forever and was officially presented to Rudi Assauer and the Schalke team. In the fully occupied Park Stadium, which held 70,000 people, the title ran every second Saturday.

Becker later appointed a new guitarist. The group was given the opportunity to play at the opening of a barrier-free hotel in Berlin Rheinsberg, including in front of Manfred Stolpe and Leo-Ferdinand Graf Henckel von Donnersmarck . In the meantime, Mike Al and his band were often featured in specialist magazines for the disabled.

In 2008 he brought out a new CD entitled “Something is always”. In 2012 a documentary about him by Dortmund filmmaker Thomas Berger was published with the title "Mike Al Becker - Portrait of a Rock` n Roller`s ".
