Mike Bickle
Mike Bickle (born July 17, 1955 ) is an American preacher. He is the director of the International House of Prayer (IHOP) in Kansas City ( Missouri ), one of the most famous Christian organizations of the permanent prayer movement . Since September 19, 1999 , prayer and worship sessions have been held here around the clock with changing teams.
Bickle was a former pastor of the Kansas City Fellowship (now the Metro Christian Fellowship ). His teachings emphasize growing in passion for Jesus through closeness to God . He is closely associated with the Kansas City Prophets .
In addition to serving as director of IHOP, Bickle is president of the Forerunner School of Ministry (FSM), a Kansas City-based full-time Bible school.
Mike Bickle is also the author of various books, including the titles Passion for Jesus , Growing in the Prophetic , The Pleasures of Loving God , After God's Own Heart , The Rewards of Fasting: Experiencing the Emotions and Power of God and The Seven Longings of the Heart . Numerous audio versions of Mike's teachings have also been marketed.
Today Mike Bickle is mainly active as a speaker in the IHOP conferences.
