Mike Dred

Mike Dred is the best known pseudonym of the British techno DJ, producer and sound engineer Michael Christopher Cullen (* 1967 in Lowestoft , Great Britain ). His publications are largely to be attributed to acid techno . In addition to Mike Dred, he published under the pseudonyms Chimera , DJ Judge Dred , The Kosmik Kommando , Machine Codes and Space Avenger . Dred has been a DJ since 1983 and a producer since 1988. After Richard D. James ( Aphex Twin ), Dred was the first artist to release a record on James' Rephlex Records label . Further works appeared on R&S Records , Diatomyc and his own label Machine Codes. Together with James, Cullen also published as Universal Indicator .
