Mike Friese

Mike Friese (born November 14, 1983 ) is a German football player .

career

Friese (position: quarterback ) arose from the youth work of the Braunschweig Lions and was a member of the men's team from 2003. He played for Braunschweig until 2006: in 2003 and 2004 he was German runner-up with the Löwen, in 2003 he was part of the team that won the Eurobowl . In 2005 and 2006, Friese won the German championship title with the Lower Saxony. He returned in 2011 and was German champion two more times in 2013 and 2014. Friese, who works as a pharmacist , retired after the 2014 season; in March 2018, at the age of 34, there was the second return to the Braunschweig squad. He contributed to winning the 2018 Eurobowl and the 2019 German championship.

National team

In 2005, Friese won the World Games with the German national team . In the same year he was second in the European Championship with the selection.
