Mike Luckovich

Michael Edward Luckovich (born January 28, 1960 in Seattle , Washington ) is an American cartoonist and two-time Pulitzer Prize winner .

Luckovich studied political science at the University of Washington before he was able to gain experience as a freelance cartoonist. Mid-1980s, published the daily newspaper The Greenville News of South Carolina and the New Orleans Times-Picayune his work. For his caricatures in The Atlanta Constitution , he finally received his first Pulitzer Prize in caricature. Around 2000 he even drew a short comic strip: SuperZeros , which is about stupid superheroes.

There was controversy in 2009 when a cartoon featured the recent death of Michael Jackson .
