Mike Mulholland
Mike Mulholland is a visual effects specialist for film and television. For his work he has been nominated several times for important awards such as the Oscar or the Emmy . Most recently, he was nominated for an Oscar in 2018 for his work on Star Wars: The Last Jedi .
Life
In 1996, Mulholland received a bachelor's degree from Bournemouth University . He studied computer animation and visualization at Bournemouth .
After graduating he developed computer games under Psygnosis . He then worked for the company ESC Entertainment and from 1999 at Cinesite UK . At Cinesite , Mulholland was first involved in special effects in film and television for the Band of Brothers . He was for Band of Brothers in 2002 for the Emmy for prime time ( prime time Emmy nominated). After working at Cinesite , he worked as a computer graphics supervisor, head of computer graphics, and most recently as a VFX supervisor for Framestore for a total of ten years . He then moved to Industrial Light & Magic London in 2015 as a VFX Supervisor .
