Mike Mulongoti is a Zambian politician.

Mike Mulongoti belongs to the guards of the Movement for Multiparty Democracy , but not to its first line. He has been a member of the National Assembly of Zambia since a by-election in the Lufwanyama constituency in 1995 . In 2006, however, he was appointed as a Member of Parliament. He became Deputy Minister of Defense after the 1996 election in Zambia . Together with Ackson Sejani, he was one of those members of the MMD and the National Assembly of Zambia who threatened President Frederick Chiluba with dismissal proceedings in May 2001 if he succeeded in getting a third term in office. Mulongoti belonged to a larger group of prominent MMD members such as Dawson Lupunga, Jeston Mulando and Boniface Kawimbe, who therefore left the party and founded the Forum for Democracy and Development , but returned to the MMD in August 2002 and were immediately resumed. After the 2001 election, he became Minister for Information and Media. Mike Mulongoti was for the election in Zambia in 2006 the election chairman of the MMD and as Vice Chairman of the Wahlkampfkommittees the second campaign manager of the party. Its central task was to have the MMD candidates nominated for the individual constituencies and to steer the election campaign. He was then appointed Deputy Foreign Minister.

Despite some media presence, only a few photos and no biographical data can be found. Mulongoti looks discreet from the second row, but apparently very effective.
