Mike Tagg

Michael John "Mike" Tagg (born November 13, 1946 in Norfolk ) is a former English athlete who was runner-up in the European Championship in the 10,000 meter run in 1969 .

Mike Tagg won the junior championship at the Cross of Nations in 1966 . At the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City, Tagg finished 13th in the 10,000 meter run. The following year he won the silver medal behind Jürgen Haase from the GDR at the European Championships in Athens in 28: 43.2 minutes over 10,000 meters . In 1970 Tagg won in Vichy in the adult class at the Cross of Nations, with the English team he also won the team championship. In 1976 he ran at the World Cross Country Championships in the English team and also won the team championship.

At a height of 1.85 m, Tagg's competition weight was 60 kg.
