Mikhail Kibard

Mikhail Kibardin (* 1974 in Tashkent , Uzbekistan ) is an Uzbek violinist .

Life

Kibardin received his first violin lessons at the age of six. In 1986 he came to Prof. Nathan Mendelssohn at the “Uspensky School”, the music high school for musically gifted children connected to the Tashkent Conservatory, majoring in “violin” . A short time later, the violinist successfully took part in his first competitions. So he won u. a. in 1988 first prize in the national competition of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in 1989 second prize in the great USSR competition for young violinists and in 1991 second prize in the international competition for string instruments in Tashkent.

As a soloist with the Uzbek Radio Chamber Orchestra and the Moscow Chamber Orchestra "Akademie", Kibardin was active in chamber music early on . He has given concerts in the republics of the former Soviet Union and in Europe in various chamber music ensembles. He also worked regularly as a soloist.

In 1995 he came to Hamburg , where he continued his studies at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater with Andreas Röhn , the concertmaster of the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra . Kibardin made his diploma with distinction and, after completing postgraduate studies, a concert exam . He perfected his education by taking part in international master classes.

Today Kibardin works as a soloist, but also as a member of the “Scardanelli Quartet” and the “Efim Jourist Quartet”. He kicked u. a. at the festivals Kissinger Winterzauber , Schleswig-Holstein-Musikfestival , Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern , Beethovenfest Bonn , Ludwigsburg Castle Festival .
