Military archive
A military archive is an archive for documents, books, maps, manuscripts and other things related to military topics. The state military archive in Germany is the Bundesarchiv-Militärarchiv (Freiburg); in France it is the Service historique de la Défense .
Universities or other institutions can also have military archives.
