List of state archives
The list of state archives below includes national and state archives . It does not claim to be complete; there are also not separate articles for all archives. In addition, there are a large number of state and thus public archives in Germany, which mostly exist at a lower level of the federal government or a federal state and hold archival material. These archives, which are usually listed in specific archive sections, can be found using the Archive Portal-D , among other things .
