The best-known examples of military-style clothing in Germany include the MA-1 bomber jacket , the CWU-45 / P flight jacket , the Bundeswehr parka , various US field trousers and the M-65 US field jacket .

These pieces of clothing are worn by very different target groups:

Bomber and flight jackets are particularly popular among skinheads (especially Oi! Skins), gabbers and the biker and hip-hop scene. The Bundeswehr parka is worn by various population groups.

The military look has become an integral part of mainstream fashion.

Furthermore, the mixing of civilian and military clothing for soldiers (also known as “buvil” for civilian military or “univil” for civilian uniform) is also usually an offense regulated in the respective service regulations, again on the grounds of possible damage to the image .
