Militia Sanctae Mariae

Militia Sanctae Mariae (German: "Order of the Knights of Our Lady" ) is a brotherhood within the Catholic Church . It was founded in 1945 by a French Benedictine and canonically established in 1964 by Bishop Roger Michon of Chartres as a public association of believers. According to their own statements, their spirituality is based on the rules of the order of St. Bernard of Clairvaux for the Knights Templar .
