history

David Furrer and Navid Djawadi have been making music since 2002, but it wasn't until 2004 when the decision to add a drummer to the duo that the progressive space rock band Milk + saw the light of day. Milk + attracted attention for the first time with an appearance in the quarter-finals of the Austrian Band Contest 2005. Their debut album Zeropolis was released just one year later , which received funding from the SKE ("Social and Cultural Institutions of Austro Mechana").

Three years later, in 2009, Who Was Mr. Feldmann , their second album on Pate Records and Paragon Negative, their first official music video. Various live performances followed and in 2010 the first EP, Rezonex . The second EP Venus Breakdown followed in 2012 on the Monkey label and gave a first taste of the third album Band on Wire , which followed in 2013 and was also released on the Monkey label. The album was produced by Mars Volta keyboarder Ikey Owens.

Milk + has had a third permanent member of the band in 2013, the drummer Alex Kerbl.

Milk + could be seen at the 2014 Rock-im-Dorf-Festival.
