The Mill Cove is a bay on the south coast of Laurie Iceland in the archipelago of the South Orkney Islands . It lies between Cape Anderson in the east and Valette Island in the west.
It was mapped during the Scottish National Antarctic Expedition (1902-1904) under the direction of the Scottish polar explorer William Speirs Bruce . Bruce named the bay after Hugh Robert Mill (1861–1950), British geographer, polar historian and longtime librarian for the Royal Geographical Society .
