Millennium Trophy

The Millennium Trophy is a rugby union trophy presented each year as part of the Six Nations tournament to the winner of the game between Ireland and England . The cup was donated in 1988 on the occasion of the 1000th anniversary of the city of Dublin and has the shape of a Viking helmet with horns . The meeting of the two teams is considered a major sporting event in the British Isles .

The current owner of the trophy is the English team, which won in Twickenham on February 23, 2020 with 24:12 (HT 17: 0).
