The Millerand Island is a rugged, towering island of about 4.5 km in diameter, approximately 6.5 km south of Cape Calmette before Fallières coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula is located. It reaches a height of 969 meters.
It was discovered during the Fifth French Antarctic Expedition (1908-1910) under the direction of Jean-Baptiste Charcot , who presumably named it after the French politician Alexandre Millerand (1859-1943).
