The Millet Partisi , MP , ( German  People's Party ) is a small political party in Turkey . Aykut Edibali founded the Reformist Party of Democracy ("Islahatçı Demokrasi Partisi") in 1984 . From this party the Millet Partisi emerged in 1992, which belongs to the nationalist spectrum. The party's emblem shows a Seljuk eagle .

It sees itself as a party that is committed to national and traditional values and defends them within the legal framework. Due to a lack of sufficient electoral success, it has never been entitled to state party funding. The party is thus financed only from the contributions of the party members.
