Private
Miloš Malenović was already considered a versatile talent in childhood, playing chess, accordion and football. At 15, a football education when he was Grasshopper Club Zurich offered and at the same time inclusion in the Conservatory of Winterthur . Malenović opted for a sporting career.
Player career
The striker first played for FC Zurich in his youth and then joined city rivals Grasshopper Zurich at the age of 15 . There he got a professional contract in 2003, but only played one game in his first season. Therefore, Malenović moved after the season to the second division club FC Wohlen , where he was used as a regular player and completed 51 games in two years, in which he scored 23 goals. Through these good performances, the Swiss first division club FC St. Gallen became aware of the striker and signed him for the 2006/07 season. Under coach Rolf Fringer Malenović could not prevail and was only used as a substitute. Therefore, he was loaned to Neuchâtel Xamax for the 2007/08 season, who had previously been promoted to the Axpo Super League (1st division) as first in the Challenge League (2nd division) . After seven games this season and one goal, Malenović injured his cruciate ligament in a friendly against FC Cortaillod and never played a game again for his loan club Neuchâtel. The contract with his employer St. Gallen was terminated by mutual agreement and Malenović was able to move to the second Dutch league for free, where he then played at Omniworld Almere and FC Emmen .
