Works

The Milojka Beutz support group describes her painting as strongly colored, impulsive and characterized by quick gestures. Strong lines and luminous surfaces are traces of an intensive examination of the model and the picture surface and create exciting compositions. The object, mostly female nudes, is transformed into a complex network of painterly energies. This creates abstractions that are noticeably stimulated by informal painting and Abstract Expressionism. With her consciously bold coloring and the always translucent relationship to the female body, Milojka Beutz made a very personal contribution to contemporary painting.

society

The non-profit association “Förderkreis Milojka Beutz, Malerin eV” was founded in 2014, with the aim of preserving, properly recording and organizing the extensive and unfinished work that Milojka Beutz left behind. It should be made accessible to the public in publications and exhibitions in accordance with its artistic value, so that it can continue to have an impact with its originality and beauty. The association sees itself as a “model” for the responsible handling of an artist's estate.
