The Mimar Sinan Mosque in Mosbach in the north of Baden-Württemberg is a mosque of the Turkish-Islamic Union of the Institute for Religion (DITIB). The official Turkish name of the mosque is Mimar Sinan Camii Mosbach ( German : Architekt-Sinan-Moschee Mosbach). The namesake Mimar Sinan was the most important architect of the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century. The building stands in the western part of the city on the banks of the Elz on a plot of 875 m². The building, designed by the graduate engineer Hameed Zakaria from Neckargerach based on Alpine architectural styles, was opened in 1993. It has a usable area of ​​477 m² and is equipped with a minaret .
