The Minami-Bōsō-Quasi-National Park ( Japanese 南 房 総 国 定 公園 , Minami-Bōsō Kokutei Kōen ) is a Japanese quasi-national park in the prefecture of Chiba in Honshū . The park, founded on August 1, 1958, has an area of ​​5,685 hectares, which covers large parts of the coast of the Bōsō peninsula from Cape Futtsu to Cape Inubo . With the IUCN Category V, the park area is classified as a Protected Landscape / Protected Marine Area . The Chiba Prefecture is responsible for the management of the park.
